A Liverpool staff member has expressed their disappointment following the club's decision to furlough some of their non-playing workers.
The Premier League leaders opted to place staff on the government scheme, which sees the taxpayer pay 80 per cent of wages up to £2,500, despite recording a £42million profit last year.
The Reds will top-up the remaining 20 per cent to ensure staff receive their full salaries but their response has received widespread criticism nonetheless.
