Steve Bruce says he is adamant that he will not resign as Newcastle manager and remains defiant that the team can re-find some much-needed form.

The Magpies are currently on an 11-game winless run in all competitions dating back to a home win against West Brom on December 12.

After losing to Leeds in midweek, Newcastle sit in 16th place and are just six points off the relegation zone - but Bruce insists he will not resign and will 'do his utmost to try and turn it around.'
