Marcos Rojo has pleaded with Manchester United to extend his loan spell at boyhood club Estudiantes.
Rojo made an emotional return to Argentina in January, joining Estudiantes on loan for the remainder of the season.
However, injuries have restricted Rojo to just one appearance for Estudiantes before the coronavirus pandemic brought the season to a halt last month.
The defender is now hoping that the Red Devils will let him stay at his hometown club until the end of the calendar year.
Rojo told local radio programme Estudiantes Y Su Gente: 'If it depends on me, I will speak to Manchester United's management about the possibility of staying here for another six months.
