Former Liverpool goalkeeper Scott Carson has revealed that he offered his Champions League-winning medal to Chris Kirkland but he said no.

The duo were part of the Reds' squad that won an unforgettable final against AC Milan in 2005.

Carson was on the bench as Rafa Benitez's side came from 3-0 down at half-time to level before triumphing 3-2 on penalties.
