The father of Tottenham's Emerson Royal has claimed that his son would be 'better suited' at a club like Real Madrid.
Royal has struggled to hold down a regular starting place at Spurs since signing from Barcelona for £25.8 million in 2021, and is currently on the sidelines nursing a knee injury he suffered while on international duty with Brazil.
In January Spurs drafted in Pedro Porro to play in Royal's right wing-back slot putting his future at the club in doubt.
Now, the 24-year-old's father has stated that his son's services would be better served elsewhere, eyeing a big summer move for defender.
