Jeffrey Schlupp is delighted to have scored his first competitive goal for Crystal Palace in their 2-0 victory over Fulham on Saturday.
The Black Stars defender opened the scoring for Roy Hodgson’s men in the 41st minute before Wilfried Zaha’s 79th-minute strike sealed an opening day win over the Premier League newcomers.
Schlupp joined the Eagles from Leicester City in January 2017, and his last goal in a competitive encounter came when the Foxes defeated Norwich City 2-1 in October 2015 .
And the 25-year-old is happy to have broken his duck - especially on the day he became a centurion in the English top-flight.
