Hull's Premier League survival bid suffers a blow as Curtis Davies is ruled out for eight weeks

Hull's Premier League survival bid has suffered another blow with the news that Curtis Davies is set for a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

Having seen key players Robert Snodgrass and Jake Livermore leave the club in recent weeks, the Tigers will now be without defender Davies for around eight weeks.

The club announced the news on Monday evening following scans on the hamstring which Davies damaged just eight minutes into Hull's 4-1 FA Cup defeat to Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday.
