Hull City have signed midfielder Alfred N'Diaye on loan from Villarreal until the end of the season, subject to international clearance.
The 26-year-old has been allowed to form part of Marco Silva's squad assembled in a bid to avoid relegation from the Premier League with barely an hour left of the January transfer window.
N'Diaye has found first team opportunities limited at Villarreal this season, and manager Fran Escriba has allowed the Senegal international to be loaned to the Tigers for the next six months.
It will be N'Diaye's second spell in the Premier League having played for Sunderland in 2013, when his performances helped the Black Cats avoid relegation under Paulo Di Canio.
