Huddersfield Town forward Elias Kachunga has been sidelined for up to three months with medial ligament damage.
The DR Congo international opened the scoring at Vicarage Road in the sixth minute with his first English Premier League goal as the Terriers cruised to a 4-1 victory over Watford.
However, in the 19th minute, the former Borussia Monchengladbach and Ingolstadt striker was stretchered off after a collision with the Hornets goalkeeper, Heurelho Gomes.
After undergoing scans on his knee, the John Smith's Stadium outfit confirmed that Kachunga has damaged his medial collateral ligament and could be out for eight to12 weeks.
