Huddersfield bring back garish electric hoops flash kit before maiden Premier League campaign in a nod to fan favourite 1991-1993 away strip

Huddersfield extended their 100 per cent winning record in pre-season with a 3-1 victory over Bury on Sunday.

But the friendly also saw them show off their alternative electric hoops 'flash' kit, first made famous by their 1991 side managed by Ian Ross, which is returning for their maiden Premier League campaign.

The red-and-black combination is one of the more eye-catching designs from a Premier League side.

And Bury's Gigg Lane was a deliberate choice to unveil the return of the strip, as Huddersfield fought back from 4-0 down to draw 4-4 there in September 1991.
