David Wagner is excited by the prospect of working with Jason Puncheon as Huddersfield complete his loan signing from Crystal Palace.
Forward Puncheon, 32, who has not started in the Premier League for Palace this season, has become Huddersfield's second transfer window signing following the arrival of defender Jaden Brown from Tottenham.
'We are close and I'm pretty confident this will be done in the next 24 to 48 hours,' said Wagner before the Puncheon deal, which lasts until the end of the season, had been announced.
Wagner has been linked with Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke and Newcastle winger Jacob Murphy among others.
