India were held to a 1-1 draw by a 10-man Bangladeshi side despite Sunil Chhetri finding the back of the net in their opening match of the SAFF Championship 2021 at the National Football Stadium in Male, Maldives.
This was the sixth time the ace Indian forward faced the Bangla Tigers in his illustrious and long international career.
Chhetri, India’s all-time highest goalscorer with 76 international goals, has now scored six goals against Bangladesh in as many meetings.
