The former Dundalk and Cork City winger has hit the ground running at Deepdale, earning admiration from his manager
Daryl Horgan made his full debut for Preston North End on Saturday, helping the Lancashire outfit defeat promotion hopefuls Brighton and Hove Albion.
The former Dundalk winger, who joined Preston in December, was named in the starting XI by Simon Grayson after impressing in the FA Cup third-round defeat to Arsenal a number of days earlier and rewarded his manager's faith by supplying the assist for his side's insurance goal in their 2-0 win.
Given the role he played in toppling Chris Hughton's side, Horgan was pleased with his own display, but was keen to emphasise the team's overall performance as they look to make a push into the play-off positions in the second half of the season.
