Marcus Rashford is on course for his best season ever at Manchester United despite a subdued return from injury, says manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Premier League shutdown has enabled Rashford to recover from a double back fracture that threatened to end his season prematurely.
But after making his comeback in the draw at Tottenham earlier this month, the England striker missed two good chances against Sheffield United and made little impact coming off the bench in Saturday’s FA Cup win at Norwich.
However, Rashford – who has earned widespread praise for his campaign to feed under-privileged kids during the pandemic – already has 19 goals to his name and Solskjaer is happy with the player’s season overall.
