‘He has been incredibly bright’ – Stoke City boss Rowett hails rejuvenated Berahino

Stoke City manager Gary Rowett has hailed Saido Berahino for his recent performances for the club this season.

The forward struggled after joining the side in 2017 failing to score for two-and-a-half years but broke the deadlock in a League Cup game against Huddersfield Town and has not looked back.

On Saturday, the 25-year-old came off the bench to score his third goal of the season and assisted Tom Ince for the second goal in their 3-2 loss to Blackburn Rovers.
