Pep Guardiola has leapt to the defence of Jurgen Klopp after the Liverpool manager was criticised for his wild celebrations during the Merseyside derby.
Klopp flew on to the Anfield surface to celebrate with goalkeeper Alisson after Divock Origi's 96th-minute winner against Everton.
The Liverpool boss apologised afterwards and Guardiola, who has previous for on-field antics, can understand the emotion boiling over.
'I did it against Southampton (last season),' the Manchester City manager said. 'There are a lot of emotions in those moments.
