The outcast has decided to strike at the Hammers in a bid to force through a move away from the club, and the striker wants him to return to France
Bafetimbi Gomis is hopeful that West Ham rebel Dimitri Payet will return to Marseille this January.
Payet is currently on strike, having told manager Slaven Bilic that he does not want to play for the club again.
The Hammers have already rejected a £20 million bid from the French club, but Gomis, who is on loan at Marseille from Swansea City, is desperately hoping Payet decides to seal a move back to Ligue 1.
