Glenn Murray seals permanent Nottingham Forest move after calling an end to unsuccessful Watford stint as ex-Brighton striker signs short-term deal with Chris Hughton's side

Brighton striker Glenn Murray has moved to Nottingham Forest on a permanent deal until the end of the Championship season.

The 37-year-old veteran joined Watford on a one-year loan in September 2020 but that was cut short after making just six appearances in all competitions for the Hornets.

Forest boss Chris Hughton said: 'Glenn is a player I know very well and he has an excellent pedigree at this level. Certainly he will add leadership and experience to our squad between now and the end of the season.
