Glen Hoddle was astounded that Tottenham boss Antonio Conte escaped a suspension after his bust-up with Thomas Tuchel during Sunday’s fiery 2-2 draw with Chelsea.
Tuchel received a temporarily suspended one-game touchline ban and was fined £35,000 while Antonio Conte has just been hit with a £15,000 penalty after their touchline bust-up.
The Chelsea boss had been deemed the guiltier party by an independent regulatory commission following his post-match clash with Tottenham boss Conte at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Tuchel and Conte were both red carded at full-time and then exchanged words as they shook hands, with the Blues boss taking exception to Conte’s refusal to look him in the eyes.
