Jurgen Klopp may be an excellent football manager and it seems the ability to lead a team of professional sportsman may well be transferable to table tennis.

The Liverpool manager, along with Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino, took a break from training to try their hand at an altogether different ball sport earlier this week.

To celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year, Klopp welcomed UK University champion Liu Haoyu to Liverpool's training base in Melwood to face off in a doubles battle with the Brazilian duo.

And the usually cool-as-a-cucumber coach was exposed for his lack of hand-eye coordination early on, sending the paddle halfway across the room after letting it slip from his hand.
