Fulham midfielder Jean Michael Seri has been nominated for the Premier League goal of the month for August.
The Cote d'Ivoire international opened his goal account in an audacious manner scoring the opening goal in the Cottagers’ 4-2 victory over Burnley on Sunday.
After beating off his marker, the midfielder smashed home a stunning long-range strike from outside the area to help Slavisa Jokanovic’s men clinch their first win of the season.
And the effort has been shortlisted along with Roberto Pereyra [Watford], Lucas Moura [Tottenham Hotspur], Callum Wilson [Bournemouth], Andre Gray [Watford], David Silva [Manchester City], and Ryan Bertrand's [Southampton] strikes for the league’s prize.
