From Liverpool's infamous T-shirts to Patrice Evra receiving DEATH THREATS… Luis Suarez racially abusing the Manchester United defender remains one of the Premier League's most shameful moments

Liverpool and Manchester United are divided by a deep rivalry, but during the 2011-12 season that dislike turned into an unsavoury and unforeseen twist following one incident.

The date was Saturday 15 October, 2011. The scene was Liverpool versus Manchester United at Anfield.

The match ended 1-1 after substitute Javier Hernandez scored a late equaliser for the visitors to cancel out Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard's opener.
