Frank Lampard confirms Edouard Mendy is OUT of Southampton clash due to a thigh injury... but Chelsea boss remains tight-lipped on whether Kepa Arrizabalaga or Willy Caballero will start in goal this weekend

Frank Lampard has confirmed that Edouard Mendy will play no part in Chelsea's Premier League clash with Southampton this weekend.

The Blues' summer-signing picked up a thigh injury while away on international duty with Senegal, which leaves Lampard with either Kepa Arrizabalaga or Willy Caballero in goal.

Mendy is likely to face a two-week spell on the sidelines but it remains to be seen who will take his place at Stamford Bridge.
