The BBC have confirmed that football will return to the channel this weekend after a one-week absence.
Football fans' worst fears were confirmed on Thursday when the Premier League, English Football Association and Football Association said football in England will be suspended until April 30.
But despite an extension of the period for which football has been postponed due to the coronavirus, the BBC returned with some good news by stating that they would broadcast a number of shows to keep football lovers entertained over the weekend.
