Gor Mahia have finally caved in and remitted a confirmation form that will allow the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) to transfer the first payment from new sponsors BetKing Kenya.
The Kenyan champions alongside Kakamega Homeboyz and Nzoia Sugar missed out on the first instalment last week after they developed cold feet and refused to fill in the forms which were mandatory and were to include the club’s bank accounts to allow Ksh500, 000 to be wired in.
Gor Mahia and Homeboyz maintained they will only sign the forms after scrutinising the deal signed between the FKF and the Nigerian-based betting firm.
