Mohamed Elneny is elated to have scored his first home goal in Arsenal’s 6-0 rout of BATEBorisov in their final Uefa Europa League game.
The Gunners ran riot over the Belarusian Premier League champions in the Emirates Stadium with Mathieu Debuchy, Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere and Olivier Giroud all registering their names on the scorersheet.
Elneny who played all of the six Europa League group stage games scored his second ever goal for Arsene Wenger’s men – after his Champions League strike against Barcelona in March 2016, thanks to Jack Wilshere’s assist.
The 25-year-old who joined the north London outfit from Basel in January 2016, put the icing on the cake with his curling effort in the 74th minute.
