FIFA president asks Boris Johnson for international stars to be EXEMPT from hotel quarantine

FIFA president Gianni Infantino has written to Boris Johnson to request exemptions for players due to play in red list countries during the upcoming international break.

The Premier League announced on Tuesday that clubs would not release players due to play in nations on the UK Government list.

The decision applies to nearly 60 players from 19 clubs who are due to travel to 26 red-list countries, leading Infantino to plead for the relaxation of rules for players.
