The South African engraved his name into the history books by setting a new Guiness World Record at the Johannesburg Stadium last weekend
South African freestyle footballer Khris Njokwana has broken the Guiness World Record for the highest altitude football dropped and controlled.
Njokwana had to control the ball and make five touches before it could touch the ground, and the Cape Town-born ball juggler did just that from a height of 34.7 metres.
Subsequently, Njokwana surpassed a record which was previously held by former Arsenal midfielder Theo Walcott, who controlled a ball from a height of 34 metres.
