Everton's Ross Barkley has responded to 'alarm bell' of being dropped and is en route to being a 'complete footballer,' says Kevin Kilbane

Former Everton midfielder Kevin Kilbane has hailed current Toffee Ross Barkley for his endeavour to improve having been dropped earlier this month.

The 22-year-old did not feature in the 1-1 draw with Manchester City but marked his place back in the side with a man-of-the-match performance in Sunday’s triumph over West Ham.

Barkley, who received a standing ovation from the Goodison Park faithful, scored Everton’s second and Kilbane believes the England youngster is adapting his game to improve all aspects.
