Everton v Tottenham Hotspur Live Commentary, 11/3/19

Everton remain 17th as they continue to search for the win - and momentum - that could restart their season. It's a similar story for Spurs going forward too: they climb up to 8th but they'll know that they'll need to perform much better to achieve their goals this campaign.

Both teams collect an underwhelming point, in a game that was overshadowed by a serious injury to Everton midfielder Andre Gomes. The first half was a tight affair with few chances for either side. However, the match opened up after Son slipped Alli in behind the Everton defence to roll an assured finish past Pickford.
