Jarrad Branthwaite has signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract to remain at Everton, the club announced on Saturday.
Under the terms of the new deal, the 19-year-old defender will remain at Goodison Park until the end of the 2024-25 season and the club has the option to extend the contract by a further 12 months.
Signed from League Two club Carlisle United in January last year, Branthwaite made his Premier League six months later and has been a regular in Rafa Benitez’s senior squad this season.
The teenager started the Carabao Cup win at Huddersfield Town in August and is determined to add to the four Premier League appearances he collected last season.
