Everton are eyeing a potential move for former Real Madrid star Isco on a free transfer after his move to Union Berlin was scrapped.
The free agent, who has been without a club since his departure from Sevilla in December, travelled to Germany to complete his deadline day move to the Bundesliga outfit.
However, Union Berlin were unable to lure the midfielder to the German capital, as demands 'contrary to the previous agreement' put a stop to the move - therefore leaving him searching for a new club.
Following the breakdown of his move to Berlin, Everton are now keen to snap up Isco as they look for ways to improve their squad despite the transfer window being shut, according Spanish newspaper outlet Sport.
