Everton and Crystal Palace send scouts to watch Vincent Aboubakar... but Besiktas striker's night ended in disaster after straight red card

Everton and Crystal Palace watched striker Vincent Aboubakar and former Arsenal midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup play for Besiktas against Olympiacos in the Europa League on Thursday.

Aboubakar, 25, is on loan from Porto and was a target for Everton last summer, while Dutch-born Ozyakup, 24, is a Turkey international with 23 caps.

Both players started the game, and the scouts saw the best and worst of Aboubakar in a topsy-turvy first half.
