Two goals in the first six minutes of the second half proved enough to hand Everton just their second win in nine league games as they brushed aside Crystal Palace at Goodison Park on Saturday.
Sam Allardyce's side came charging out of the blocks after the break and Gylfi Sigurdsson put them in front just 45 seconds later as the Icelandic midfielder saw his deflected strike beat Wayne Hennessey.
Just five minutes later and the points seemed safe when Cuco Martina delivered a cross to the unmarked Oumar Niasse and the striker calmly nodded the ball home.
