Twelve years after scoring the first goal of Jose Mourinho's Chelsea reign, Eidur Gudjohnsen enjoyed a heartfelt reunion with his former boss.
The legendary pair, who spent a profitable two years together in west London between 2004 and 2006, looked delighted as they shared a hug this week.
The moment was shared by Gudjohnsen on his Instagram page, as he headed to Carrington for a chat with the now-Manchester United manager.

The pair first worked together at Chelsea when Mourinho arrived in 2004, with Gudjohnsen netting the first goal of the new era, against Manchester United, no less.
