Edimilson Fernandes has finally secured his move to West Ham from Sion for a fee of £5.5million.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic expressed his desire to add another midfielder to his ranks, despite having already purchased Havard Nordtveit and Sofiane Feghouli and signed Gokhan Tore on loan.
Fernandes was pictured holding aloft his new shirt and it has been revealed he will wear the No 31 for his maiden campaign in England.
Fans got their first glimpse of the player in the famous claret and blue, as he was paraded in front of the London Stadium crowd ahead of West Ham's Europa League qualifying play-off second leg against Astra Giurgiu on Thursday.
