Eddie Howe cannot wait to unleash Alexander Isak’s ‘X-factor’ on the Premier League.

And the Newcastle boss is hopeful the club record £60million swoop for the Swedish international will not be their last foray into the transfer market before the close of the summer window.

Isak — dubbed the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic — has put the finishing touches to a £125,000-a-week move from Real Sociedad.

The 22-year-old could make his debut at Wolves tomorrow.

The move takes Newcastle’s transfer spending this year to just short of £250million and Howe said: ‘Alex will be a big player for us.
