Dubravka hoping for permanent Newcastle deal

The Slovakian keeper has impressed during his loan spell with Rafa Benitez's side and has relished the chance to play in the Premier League

Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka is hoping his stay at St James’ Park will be made permanent.

Dubravka joined on loan from Sparta Prague in January and he has since kept four clean sheets in 11 appearances for the Magpies, including an impressive performance against Manchester United on his debut.

Rafa Benitez is keen to exercise the club’s option to buy the Slovakian for £4 million and Dubravka also wants the deal to happen.
