Donny van de Beek is accused of thinking he's bigger than Ajax, as Dutch legend Marco van Basten claims the £40m flop's 'big boy' attitude in Holland has led to Manchester United struggles

Former Dutch international Marco van Basten has accused Donny van de Beek of thinking he was bigger than Ajax when he moved to Old Trafford.

The Manchester United flop signed a five-year contract with the Red Devils in September for a fee of £40million, but has failed to live up to expectation.

As a result, Van Basten has criticised Van de Beek's 'big boy' attitude at Ajax and believes the midfielder's assumption that he would 'make it in another country' has led to his struggles in the Premier League.
