Diogo Jota insists Liverpool are finally starting to see the best of Darwin Nunez following his turbulent start, explaining it's taken 'a few more games' for the £85m striker to adapt to the Premier League

Diogo Jota has backed summer signing Darwin Nunez to adapt to life in the Premier League after a turbulent start to English football by the striker.

Nunez was signed by Liverpool from Benfica during the summer transfer window, with there being a lot of hype from fans around the arrival of the striker from fans as he netted 34 times in 41 games in all competitions last season.

The 23-year-old started well in England as he scored in the Community Shield and on his Premier debut, but a red card for a headbutt on Joachim Andersen in the fixture against Liverpool saw questions rise over his attitude.
