Leigh Dineen has returned to the Swansea City board of directors - less than four months after stepping down.
The club confirmed Dineen is back after leaving in July following the takeover by American businessmen Jason Levein and Stephen Kaplan.
Chairman Huw Jenkins and vice chairman Dineen retained some of their shares following the takeover.
It is believed Dineen is seen by the Americans as someone who has valuable experience in the Premier League.
Swansea are currently bottom of the Premier League and have not won a game since the first day of the season.
