Diego Costa missed Atletico Madrid training on Monday and is looking to accelerate his exit from the LaLiga leaders.
The combative forward was given permission to sit out the session with his team-mates as he is trying to reach an agreement with the club over his departure.
COPE report that he was allowed to skip training and Costa is understood to want out for personal reasons.
The 32-year-old's contract expires in the summer but he is seeking a move before then, pushing for an early escape during the January transfer window.
