Aston Villa manager Dean Smith has praised his side's character after they 'battled' back from behind to draw 1-1 against Chelsea in the Premier League on Monday.
Smith hailed his side's 'incredible energy levels' after Anwar El Ghazi scored in the second half to secure Villa a much needed point despite playing twice in 48 hours.
The Villa manager believes the 'momentum and confidence' they have built up will stand them in good stead going forwards.
He told the BBC: 'It's a battling point for us.
