Everton caretaker boss David Unsworth has called on club owner Farhad Moshiri to make a permanent managerial appointment as quickly as he can.
Moshiri revealed in a statement that he has narrowed down the search for Ronald Koeman’s replacement to three names, and that he hoped to have a new man in place soon.
It is thought Unsworth is unlikely to be among the candidates for the job having enjoyed mixed fortunes during his interim spell in charge.
However, the ex-Everton defender reckons that with now 32 days having elapsed since Koeman left Goodison Park the club should not waste more time.
