David Moyes would be interested in the Scotland manager’s job should it become available this summer.
The 54-year-old quit as boss of Sunderland on Monday and is currently on holiday with his wife in America.
Moyes, however, would be the frontrunner for his country’s national-team position if Gordon Strachan were to leave in the coming months and Sportsmail understands he would talk to the SFA.
Scotland face England in a World Cup qualifier at Hampden Park on June 10 and defeat could spell the end of Strachan’s four-and-a-half-year reign.
