The Brazil right-back has played back-up to Dani Carvajal during his two seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu but he is determined to fight for his place
Danilo is determined to stay at Real Madrid despite interest from a number of clubs around Europe, Goal has learned.
Madrid signed the Brazil international for €31.5 million from Porto in 2015 but he has struggled to nail down a regular starting berth in his two seasons at the club, and has even been jeered and whistled by some fans over the last 18 months.
His future at the club was in some doubt during the January transfer window, and in recent months several clubs have explored the possibility of signing him this summer.
