Daniel Sturridge 'attracting interest from MLS sides Inter Miami and DC United' as he closes in on return from betting ban in June

MLS outfits Inter Miami and DC United are reportedly both in pursuit of former Premier League striker Daniel Sturridge.

Sturridge is currently a free agent following the termination of his contract with Trabzonspor by mutual consent in March, after he was suspended from all football-related activity worldwide until the middle of June for breaching betting rules.

The long-term ban came after he was initially suspended for six weeks last July for providing his family with inside betting information on his own transfer negotiations.
