Crystal Palace have begun drawing up a shortlist of managers to replace Roy Hodgson, whose role as head coach is under further scrutiny following the 5-0 thrashing at Arsenal.
The 76-year-old’s position at Selhurst Park has been uncertain for several weeks following a poor run of form that has seen Palace languish towards the lower reaches of the Premier League.
Following the loss at the Emirates, the south London club have won just once from their previous 12 matches.
Chairman and co-owner ideally Steve Parish wants Hodgson to see out the season but their poor form could yet force his hand.
