Ismaila Sarr scored in either half to lead Crystal Palace to an impressive 4-1 victory over Aston Villa at Selhurst Park.
Palace took the lead just before the half hour mark through Sarr, and the hosts looked more likely to double their advantage as they pushed for a second goal.
However, Villa finished the first half strongly and thought they had equalised when Morgan Rogers scored, only for VAR to rule the goal out after Ollie Watkins was adjudged to be offside in the build-up. Seven minutes after the break, Rogers refused to be denied a second time as he brought Villa level after combining with Ollie Watkins.
