Crystal Palace took a huge step towards Premier League safety as they moved six points clear of the relegation zone after sealing a crucial win against rivals Brighton.
Five goals were scored in the opening half of the match with Wilfried Zaha and James Tomkins both bundling home efforts from close range in the opening 14 minutes to send the home side into a two-goal lead.
Glenn Murray quickly brought Brighton back within one goal before Zaha reestablished their advantage with his second of the game. Jose Izquierdo once again pulled the Seagulls back and set up a nervy second half, but Palace locked the game down to seal the biggest win of their season.
